可恶的法莫道不消魂国佬和愚蠢的lucy

 

最近的项目需要和一群high fashion的设计师打交道。其中一只则是法莫道不消魂国高级香氛创意总监，曾任职于著名的fragrance company，专注于各种香氛的设计。多么fancy的job啊。。记得去年见其人时，就觉得很羡慕他的工作。只是今日看到其profile部分的specialism…偶不禁噗哧笑了出来。。

竟然一本正经得说：Specialism: cool hunting in the cities. ..

考虑到恐怕是法莫道不消魂国佬lost in translation的关系，于是。。硬着头皮写了以下有点冒犯的信去询问：

"Cool hunting in cities".

If I understand it correctly, I suppose it means to identify the cool trend and fashion elements that are emerging in cities for creative inspiration.

 

However, as this is to be put as a profile on the book, we just wonder if you can put this line in some more generic words for readers who might not be professionals to understand it correctly. It would be good if you can let us know exactly what you mean and rephrase it in a sensible way.
